Indianapolis Museum of Art

- The Indianapolis Museum of Art was founded in 1883 and is among the 10 largest and 10 oldest general art museums in the nation.  With an encyclopedic collection of more than 54,000 works spanning 5,000 years, the IMA offers significant holdings of African, American, Asian, European and contemporary art, textiles and fashion art, as well as a growing collection of design arts.


- Dolly Parton's Smoky Mountain Theme Park. It's a rustic amusement park.

Dixie Stampede

- Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede. They have a great dinner (you eat with your hands - no utensils) and show. Something for the whole family to see.

Sky Zone

- Sky Zone Trampoline Park. It's an indoor park with floor level trampolines. Great fun!

Bridgeton Mill

- The Bridgeton Mill is a beautiful, historic site as well as a fully operational gristmill. Each of their products are fresh, stone ground and 100% natural.

Lark Ranch

- Lark Ranch is a great place to visit around Halloween.  They're open from the middle of September thru Halloween.  If you're looking for family entertainment in Southern Indiana then make plans to visit the Lark Ranch corn maze.

Frog Follies

- The Frog Follies is a great time to spend with your family and fellow street rod enthusiasts.

Grant Farms

- Grant's Farm is a popular St. Louis destination since 1954, Grant’s Farm is the 281-acre ancestral home of the Busch family, named for Ulysses S. Grant who originally worked a portion of the land.. This is one of the farms that they house their Clydesdale horses.


Cheddars Restaurant

- Cheddars - A nation-wide chain that we found in Evansville, IN. Cindy and I enjoy eating there on a regular basis. Their chicken tender platter is wonderful.

Dr. Jazz Soda Fountain & Grille

- Dr. Jazz Soda Fountain & Grille is located in Lebanon, IL. It's an old fashion soda fountain that serves great food. In November and December they have a special event called, "It's a Wonderful Life". If you're in the area, you must make plans to attend.

Canal Bistro

- Canal Bistro is the most authentic Mediterranean food you can get without a passport.  Dine inside where you can watch your food being prepared, outside by the canal, or call ahead for carryout.  Family owned and operated, Canal Bistro brings the sights, smells, and flavors of the Mediterranean to Broad Ripple, Indiana.

Stone Creek Dining

- Stone Creek Dining Company in Plainfield, IN has stylish surrounds with a complement an American menu of upscale fare including crab cakes, steaks & pasta.

Halls on the River

- Halls on the River is on the outskirts on Winchester, KY. You won't be disappointed.

Joe Huber Farms

- Joe Huber Farms - it's a great restaurant, bakery, winery and farmers market. They've got a petting zoo for the kids. They are located in Starlight, Indiana.

Gasthof Amish Village

- Gasthof Amish Village - they have a restaurant with a buffet, hotel, shops, etc... Located in Montgomery, a small town in Southern Indiana.


Webstaurant Store

- Webstaurant Store is a great place to purchase spices, consumables, smallwares, equipment, etc.  I order from them on a regular basis.

Rene's Bakery

- Rene's Bakery is a bakery in Broad Ripple, IN.  We discovered Rene's Bakery and were blown away by the assortment of baked goods available.  We ate their cinnamon rolls and strawberry danishes for breakfast on both mornings we were in the area.  We also brought home some bread, croissants, banana nut bread, and two type of cookies. Fabulous place.

The Wooden Cottage

- The Wood Cottage is a store located in Gatlinburg's Arts and Crafts Community. They produce personalized wooden collectables. We've purchased wooden Christmas ornaments and personalized wooden benches for children.

The Incredible Christmas Place

- The Incredible Christmas Place is a store located in Pigeon Forge, TN.  It's a Christmas store that's open year round.  A great place to shop and a wonderful place to just visit.


- QVC - I'm not a shopaholic, but, we've bought a few things from them and have been pleased. Give them a try.

New Harmony Soap Company

- New Harmony Soap Company is located in New Harmony, IN.  We shop there everytime we're in town for the Christmas Parade.  Try them, you'll be surprised

Wilbur Chocolate

- Wilbur Buds - producers of fine quality chocolate since 1884. I ordered from them in the past and they were very good.

Ghyslain Chocolatiers

- Ghyslain Chocolatier, Inc. hand paints their chocolate creations. We stopped by their new facility and picked up some chocolate turtles; they were fabulous.


IX Webhosting

- IXWebhosting - this is the company that hosts my website. They are reasonably priced, user friendly and have great customer service.

Develop PHP

- Develop PHP - is a website that offers free training on programming languages such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, Flash, etc. The owner Adam Khoury also has a You Tube channel. A great resource.

The New Boston

- The New Boston is a great website for video tutorials of HTML/CSS, HTML5, Javascript, etc. The owner Bucky Roberts has a You Tube channel called thenewboston.

Inn at Christmas Place

- The Inn at Christmas Place is an amazing hotel in Pigeon Forge, TN that is decorated for Christmas year round. It's a five star hotel in the Smoky Mountains. We stayed there multiple times and it was wonderful.

Smoky Mountain Knife Works

- Smokey Mountain Knife Works has the largest collection of knifes I have ever seen. Great prices also.

- InTouch with Dr. Charles Stanley offers numerous resources to help us all in our Daily Christian walk.
